Ever since I was pretty young I had a mindset to be an entrepreneur. I would make little charms out of clay and sell them to classmates at school. I also enjoyed buying and selling collectibles. I never realized I had a heart for business until my 2nd year in college majoring in something I was having troubles engaging in. I started to get back into clay in 2022. Instead of making charms like I did in the past, I started to create earrings. I felt that they should be shared and enjoyed by others so I decided on building my own online boutique. I want my boutique to offer customers handmade earrings, cowhide bags, and clothing pieces that are fun, beautiful, and MODEST! I emphasize the importance of modesty because our bodies were created to be Holy (Ephesians 4:24 NIV). I was once convinced that by showing more skin I was more attractive and that I could find love and though I might have had guys in line, they did not have the right intentions. I slowly learned that showing more skin was not going to make me feel better about myself and it only lead me down a path of insecurity and depression. When we do not dress modestly we are disrespecting ourselves and lowering our standards. I'll be honest, sometimes I am tempted to go my old ways in dressing to show more, to give myself a temporary self-esteem boost. Did you notice I used the term "temporary"? Only Jesus can help us find true confidence that remains. I encourage you gals to seek Jesus (Matthew 6:33 ESV), you most likely wont regret it! I found more confidence in myself by pursuing Jesus. He is consistently reminding me my true worth and how precious I am! We are all beautiful just the way the Lord created us. There's nothing we need to change! We don't need to show more skin in order to be noticed, or to be considered beautiful because the Lord defines us as fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14 NIV). And Ladies! You will find the right guy, it takes seeking Jesus, allowing him to heal your hurt and to reveal to you who you were created to be in Christ, treating your bodies with gentleness, and respect, and having the patience and trust in Jesus that he will bring to you a man who's heart is after God, and who values you the way Jesus does. I am beyond grateful to share a little bit of my testimony and my journey with Christ with you and I hope it brings you encouragement! <3
